Sign Up for a Virtual Book Club on GUN COUNTRY by Andrew McKevitt

I have been thinking for a long time about hosting a virtual book club to discuss recent gun-related books. Thinking is becoming acting.

In February and March, I am going to host a virtual book club to discuss historian Andrew McKevitt’s Gun Country: Gun Capitalism, Culture & Control in Cold War America (Bookshop Affiliate Link). This book was named by the Washington Post as one of the 50 best nonfiction books of 2023.

The book club will meet on the Zoom platform from 6:00-7:00 pm Eastern Time on Tuesdays February 6, February 20, March 5, and March 19. I am also going to work on a bonus “Conversation with the Author” session.

If you’re interested and able to attend, please sign up using this Zoom Webinar link: https://wakeforest-university.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_VqoGm_9WToSbrCf3w71fYQ.

Only registered attendees can join the meeting. More information is available on a landing page I created on my website.

Registration for the book club is required, but active participation cannot be guaranteed. If more than 12 people sign-up, additional registrants can attend the book club as viewers with written chat capability but not speaking privileges. To encourage candor, these virtual book club meetings will not be recorded.

I’ve never done this before, so if you have questions or suggestions, please send them my way.
